Harwich is the third largest Cruise Ship Port in the United Kingdom. Similarly to Southampton and Dover passenger numbers are increasing year on year, reflecting the increase in popularity of no-fly cruising.
Harwich has a single Cruise Terminal located at Parkston Quay.
In the previous year (2012) Harwich received 54 cruise ship calls, and 128,000 arriving or departing passengers.
Operations at Harwich are seasonal, principally from May to September. Principal Cruise Operators are: Holland America, Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean International and Voyages of Discover
Southampton is the largest Cruise Ship Port in the United Kingdom and is now recognised as the Cruise Ship Capital of Northern Europe. The Port now has four Cruise Ship Terminals accommodating in excess of 1.5 million cruise passengers in 2012, projected to increase in 2013 to 1.65 million.
With the opening of the new “Ocean Cruise Terminal” at Berth 46 Cunard (Carnival UK) have augmented their capacity to accommodate the newly introduced cruise vessels

The Mayflower Cruise Terminal – Berth 106
Dover is the second largest Cruise Ship Port in the United Kingdom. Similarly to Southampton passenger numbers are increasing year on year, reflecting the increase in popularity of no-fly cruising.
Dover has two Cruise Terminals both located in the Western Docks. The original Terminal 1 opened in 1996, this terminal is a listed building and contains many of the original features from the past. A second purpose built state-of-the-art Terminal was opened in 2000.
In the current year (2013) Dover will welcome 180 cruise ship calls, and over 300,000 passengers.
